Happy Holidays from Simple Link!
At Simple Link, weβre always striving to make work life simpler, both for our team and the users who rely on our tools every day. Today, weβre thrilled to announce a new update to Simple Team, our intuitive team and time management service: The introduction of dark mode. This feature is more than just a visual refresh; itβs a thoughtful response to user feedback and a step forward in creating a more adaptable, user-centric experience.
Why Dark Mode Matters
In an era where remote work, late-night projects, and screen time are the norm, user comfort and focus are paramount. Dark mode has become a staple in modern software design for good reason:- Reduced Eye Strain: Soft, high-contrast dark themes are easier on the eyes during long work sessions or in low-light environments.
- Enhanced Focus: Minimal distractions and a calmer interface help users stay immersed in their tasks.
- Accessibility: Dark mode benefits users with visual sensitivities or those who prefer lower brightness levels.
- Aesthetic Appeal: Sleek, modern designs align with current trends and user preferences.
Crafting a Seamless Experience
Our design team worked closely with user feedback to ensure this dark mode isnβt just visually appealing, but also functional. Key features include:- Optimized Contrast: Text and icons are clearly visible against dark backgrounds, maintaining readability without compromising aesthetics.
- Consistency Across Platforms: Whether youβre using Simple Team on desktop, mobile, or tablet, the dark mode experience is unified and intuitive.
- Customization Options: Users can toggle between light and dark modes with a single click, adapting the interface to their workflow and environment.

At Simple Link, trust and security are more than features. They're foundations. That's why we're continuing to strengthen how you protect access to your data.
This month, weβre rolling out support for Authenticator Apps as an additional method for Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).
Until now, Simple Link users could secure their accounts with 2FA via email. With this update, weβre giving you more control and flexibility by supporting popular Authenticator Apps from providers like Apple, Google, Microsoft, and more.
Why does this matter?
Because with authenticator apps, your second factor is not just secure, it's resilient, working even when email isn't. Itβs a small change that brings a big boost in confidence.
β Stronger protection
β More flexibility
β Built for peace of mind
Weβre committed to helping you and your team feel secure, every step of the way.
Sharing should feel effortless - and safe. Thatβs why weβve made Simple Link even more secure.
We're excited to introduce end-to-end encryption to our platform. This new layer of protection ensures your data is encrypted before it ever leaves your device, and remains encrypted while in transit and at rest. Only you and the people you choose to share with can access the content - not even Simple Link can see what you've shared.
Combined with our advanced access control options, this update brings a new level of confidence to your everyday data sharing.
No more second-guessing. Just share - and breathe easy.

- Simple Polls of type "date" have received a third voting option. In addition to "yes" and "no",
voters can now vote with "maybe". "Maybe" votes are weighted as half a vote.
- New admin actions. We have added a new admin action panel to Simple Poll, which allows admins to quickly access management actions for their poll. These admin actions include:
- Opening the editor. The editor allows you to edit all aspects of a Simple Poll, including all its possible answers. (Some aspects may only be edited as long as no votes have been cast)
- Scheduling the poll for deletion. (Deletion occurs within the next 24 hours after scheduling the deletion. Scheduled deletions can be canceled.)
- Copying the polls URL
- Other (smaller) changes to improve Simple Poll
This new feature aims to provide more flexibility and nuance for users when scheduling events and making decisions. The "maybe" option is particularly useful for scenarios where participants need more time to decide or are uncertain about their availability.
Simple Poll continues to innovate and improve its services, ensuring that users have the tools they need to gather accurate and meaningful feedback.
